The provisional rank list of health service quota candidates, who have qualified in the entrance examination for admission to postgraduate medical course 2015 conducted on February 8, has been revised. The initial list was published on March 18 with the particulars furnished by the Director of Health Services (DHS). The revised list was necessitated following a new list of health service quota candidates submitted by the DHS, with the revised service particulars, by including the weightage of difficult rural service in years. The revised list has been published after awarding due weightage to the candidates for their service rendered in difficult rural areas at the rate of 10 per cent of marks obtained for each year of service in difficult rural areas, up to a maximum of 30 per cent of the marks obtained in the PG medical entrance examination. The revised rank list is available on the website, cee-kerala.org. — Special Correspondent
