MBBS student turns up at job exam for bro, caught

BHATINDA: This is a mistake MBBS student Saksham Khanna will regret for a long time. The student of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) was apprehended on Tuesday while writing the job examination of a multipurpose health worker for his brother, Nipun.

Police are mulling legal action against the brothers and have Saksham in their custody. University vice-chancellor Raj Bahadur confirmed the incident. "It is unfortunate that the MBBS student was appearing in an exam for his brother," he said.
A university official said the test was being on the university's campus, and an official on exam duty identified Saksham, who is a second-year student at the varsity. The official soon phoned the police. Though Saksham tried to flee the spot, police nabbed him.

Police have not registered a case against the two. Faridkot City police station SHO Jatinder Singh confirmed that Saksham was in their custody. "Legal action is being taken against him and his brother," he said.
