Sasikala has applied for 15-day parole, Dhinakaran says
"They are far worse than dengue and more dangerous than the disease. You cannot expect anything from them. Amma (Jayalalithaa) was running the government effectively when she was alive," he said.
He said the doubts raised over her death was to hide the poor functioning of the government.

CHENNAI: Sidelined AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran on Monday said party leader and his aunt V K Sasikala has sought a 15-day parole from Parapana Agrahara prison in Bengaluru to meet her ailing husband.
Sasikala's husband M Natarajan is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Chennai. He is currently in the liver intensive care unit with decompensated liver disease leading to liver and kidney failure and lung congestion. He is receiving dialysis and other intensive care therapies.
Dhinakaran was hopeful that his aunt would get ordinary leave from jail. "We are not sure of the duration of parole. The authorities will decide on that," he told reporters here.
'We want a CBI probe into Jaya death'
Dhinakaran said he was not sure about the state government's inquiry commission led by a retired judge to probe into the death of former chief minister J Jayalalithaa. "We want a CBI probe. Only then, former chief minister O Panneerselvam and other ministers, who are now coming with contrary views on the accessibility to the ailing leader, will be investigated properly," he said.
He alleged that the Edappadi K Palaniswami government had turned treacherous and would be sent home shortly.
"People know the present government has fallen short of the majority mark of 117. Let Palaniswami, chosen by our Chinnamma (Sasikala) give up his post and get elected by the members of legislature party again. We will not have any problem then. Now, he has to prove his majority in the assembly," said Dhinakaran, who claims to have the support of 21 MLAs. "We are confident of winning the court battle against disqualification move," he said.
Accusing the government of poorly combating the "sporadic outbreak of dengue," Dhinakaran said nothing could be expected from the present government led by Palaniswami.
