Southern Railway to run special trains from Chennai to Coimbatore, Pune

CHENNAI: Southern Railwayhas announced special trains to meet the rush of passengers during the Diwali season.
No 82609 Chennai Central - Coimbatore Suvidha special train will leave Chennai Central at 8pm on October 17 and reach Coimbatore at 4.35am the next day.
No 06020 Coimbatore - Chennai Central special fare special train will leave Coimbatore at 7.10pm on October 19 and reach Chennai Central at 3.45am the next day.
The trains will have one AC first class, two AC three tier, 10 sleeper class and two general second class coaches. They will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Vaniyambadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode and Tirupur.
Advance reservations for the above trains will begin at 8am on October 7.
Another special fare train will run from Chennai to Pune on October 7.
No 06080 Chennai Central - Pune special fare special train will leave Chennai Central at 8pm on October 7 and reach Pune at 5:45pm the next day.
The train will have four sleeper class and nine general second class coaches. It will stop at Arakkonam, Renigunta, Cuddapah, Guntakkal, Raichur, Wadi, Solapur and Daund.
