Names for Madras varsity V-C shortlisted

The three-member search committee for University of Madras Vice-Chancellor met on Monday for over three hours and short-listed 10 names. A member said by next week, the names would be handed over to the Governor-Chancellor, Ch. Vidyasagar Rao.

As many as 60 candidates had applied for the post.
